Daily Duties at Scan Health Plan:

Supervised the Payroll dept, hire payroll staff, assist with processing multi-company bi-weekly payroll for 700+ employees, implementation manager for payroll system change from Zurich to ADP. Computed wages and deductions, prepare payables for employee benefits, reconciling payroll related general ledger accounts and W-2 forms, reconciling federal, FICA, state, local and unemployment tax payments, preparing payments of periodic workers’ compensation payroll taxes, preparing journal entries and monthly payroll accruals, and inputting information from timecards, 1099 & W-2 recon, garnishments, prepare reports as assigned by Director or V.P. Finance, provide problem resolution and interpretation of Rules and policies to staff. Serve as liaison between payroll, human resources, and the payroll provider. Administrator of 403(b) & Pension. Enforces internal payroll policies and procedures and External regulatory laws, rules and regulations, contribute article to monthly newsletter.

Payroll Position Within 20 Miles of 90501

I'm looking for a payroll position. My last salary was $55K. I'm currently on a 1 month temporary assignment with Payday Payroll Company in Orange. I over 10 years of experience in both payroll and Human Resources. I've worked in the H.R. and Finance departments.
