Daily Duties at Sperrysun Drilling Company(A Halliburton Company):

Worked as Well-site Geologist/Geologist (Mud Logging) for different operating oil and gas companies in Asia Pacific, Gulf and African Region. Performs all drilling geological and rig site duties on exploration, appraisal and development and data wells as assigned. Provides advisory support and geological guidance to drilling division through their representative on rig site. Ensures fulfillment of drilling, geological/reservoir requirements and fully implementations of well programs. On rig site work with vertical, deviated, horizontal and multilateral wells with different tools used for drilling and logging the well.( LWD, MWD/Geo Steering). My responsibility is to monitor continuously all drilling activity and gather data generated from the logging unit. Well trajectory data, to steer the well on their target to get maximum reservoir. I was involved in identifying litho stratigraphic formation boundaries, casing setting depths and coring points. Description of cuttings and core and oil shows on well site, formation evaluation and well data correlation, monitoring of hydrocarbons/H2S, all these data to be reported to the Operation Geologist and Company Man. My responsibility is involved in all the on site supervision of the mud logging unit, installation operations and maintenance of different drilling sensors and networking of the systems and QC of all the offshore and on shore units. I am also responsible for operating computerized logging unit in both onshore and offshore environments in the safest manner possible (HSE Issues), providing client personnel with accurate and timely data products and daily written reports, evaluating all formations penetrated and immediately reporting any hydrocarbon shows monitoring all aspects of rig operations and down hole conditions, immediately reporting any suspected unsafe conditions and keeping rig personnel apprised of such conditions. With reference to, have knowledge of different software related to the drilling and geology i.e (start works and open works) Manage and provide technical support to rig site and to the mud logger and Geologist working on the rig site. Conducted several trainings to locals trainees and expacts on rig site in GCC and Asian Countries. Specially drilling, mud logging, geological, petro physical studies and technologies
