Daily Duties at Newport Hospital:
Manage all the server backups for Newport Hospital. Monitoring the backups, making sure they all run successfully. Using Legato Software for all our server backups, monitoring, re-running them when they fail. Making sure there are enough tapes to run the backups, taking them out when full, and rotating them. Rotating tapes within the data center for several other system backups that we have. Maintaining successful backups, re-running them when they fail. Printing all the reports that come out throughout the night, using Eclypsis Software Program to perate this. Seperating and disbursing the reports, distributing them to their proper locations. Changing the paper and ribbon when necessary on the printer. Working with the help desk to troubleshoot any problems that occur during the night within the hospital. Working on a different data entry documents to change or update any information.
