Maintained daily operations of a 500,000 square feet distribution center including managing a budget of over $4.3 million. Supervised daily operations for the distribution staff. Maintained all employee-related matters regarding hiring, scheduling, training and performance management. Responsibilities relating to the distribution center included quality control, developing operation policies and procedures as well as managing corporate goals and objectives. Ensured that workers compensation practices were in line with meeting the company’s objectives in managing an injury free work environment. Major accomplishment included the development and design of cost-efficient strategies that saved the company over $200,000.00 annually.
