Technical Services Manager –Adman, Sept, 1997 - October, 1998 Managed 10 – 14 technical and telephone support representatives on accounting software sold to Advertising Agencies, trained employees and clients on how to use the system over the phone and in consulting and training classes. Redefined positions to take advantage of employee strengths. Developed knowledge base to easily access information. Implemented Customer Service surveys to improve our employees weaknesses. Accomplishments: • Increased direct response percentages from 2% to 35% of call taken directly resulting in improved client satisfaction • Improved call response time to 99% returned in less than 2 hours (from 23% of calls returned in 4) increasing client and employee spirits • Improved training resulted in new phone reps being productive within 30 days which was decreased from 90 days • Reorganized department into customer support and technical support calls to improve response time of calls • Knowledge base & training manuals created to increase employee productivity • Implemented customer survey process resulted in improved methods of determining employee weaknesses and strengths • Minimized software performance issues by performing database reviews, analysis and/or repairs • Communicated and gathered technical information from technical and non-technical individuals • Handled multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines, working independently or as part of a team • Wrote, revised and proofed documentation, installation instructions, employee training manuals and user documentation Conversion Project Leader, July, 1996 - Sept, 1997 Developed internal processes and documentation to convert client databases from DOS to Windows or Macintosh versions of Adman Software, developed step by step user documentation for implementation and training of new system. Provided over phone help to customers during their implementation and product installation. Accomplishments: • Successfully converted 650 clients into new software • Had 98% client satisfaction rate • Minimized software performance issues by performing database reviews, analysis and/or repairs • Communicated and gathered technical information from technical and non-technical individuals • Wrote technical documentation, installation instructions and user implementation plans Technical Support Representative, January, 1996 - Sept, 1997 Assisted new clients in installation, product setup, technical and telephone support for Adman on Mac OS & Windows operating systems. Taught user training classes and provided on-site consulting trips to help customers use the Adman software Accomplishments: • Became internal Mac OS troubleshooting resource for reps and development employees • Investigated software problems referred by technical support or customer service personnel • Communicated and gathered technical information from technical and non-technical individuals • Handled multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines, working independently or as part of a team
