• Oversaw all pitches, test tapes, and budgets in development for department • Produced various long-form shows (documentary, reality, music, etc) • Hired and maintained staff for all projects • Reported directly to EVP and SVP of Music and Talent Development • Supervised casting of audience and talent appropriate for show • Worked on large, live event shows with quick turnarounds for air • Helped create and maintain million dollar budgets for long-term and one off shows • Interviewed talent for various different projects • Worked with digital department on delivering original content for Mobile and Online • Conceptualized ideas for shows and brought them from template to fruition • Scripted and produced MTV monthly music show and quarterly MTV2 show • Established and maintained multi-channel brand for high profile company initiative • Oversaw long-term budget for multiple shows within the brand • Field Produced and created feature packages profiling new artists • Direct supervisor of production staff, outside crews and vendors • Managed weekly edits and approved show cuts for air • Worked directly with General Motors and Nintendo on sponsorship fulfillments
