Prepared metrics reporting on spend-vs.-budget and major project status on monthly basis for presentation to senior staff. • Transitioned completed network from Novell to Microsoft including the integration of Server 2000, 2003 and Active Directory. • Utilized IBM AS400 technology by integrating CMS Player Tracking systems with Bally’s SDS to improve customer relations and increase profitability to the organization. • Actively involved in the transition from Bally’s SDS to Konami gaming systems moving from a UNIX based system to a Linux/IBM Series I based system including moving to a complete Ethernet network topology. • Responsible for hiring and termination, retaining, developing training guidelines and motivating staff utilizing yearly performance reviews while providing ongoing evaluations of their performance strengths and weaknesses. • Interacted with Senior Management and key users to establish guidelines and training documentation for new product implementations and installations. • Utilized vendor negotiations for proposals in various arenas of the industry including entertainment, telecommunications and IT. Ensuring that all regulatory items were addressed and contracts were reviewed by appropriated legal entities prior to signatures being applied.
