Daily Duties at Talecris Plasma Resources:

Monitors, evaluates and leads all center operations. As Center Manger I am directly responsible for over 40 employees in the daily operations of the center. I have established rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction with the center to support of thier long term donation. Provides employees with active feedback regarding performance. Plans, Presents, and conducts weekly meetings with management team and staff on business goals and overall daily operations. I work closely and considered a liaison in administrative assistance to subject matter experts concerning; financial, legal, labor, and counseling as needed in support of company's guidelines. Responsible for all personnel functions including hiring, development and training, disciplinary actions, terminations, and maintenance of all personnel records and payroll using Ceridian. Assists in budget preparation and manages facility against the agreed upon budget to meet production and cost targets. Manages center supplies and equipment in excess of 1.5 million dollars. Responsible for community representation with regards to all public relations and marketing campaigns to attract and retain donors. Researches, selects and negotiates advertising and facility management contracts with vendors. Maintains thorough familiarity with and ensures compliance of State and Federal regulations to include, EEO, FDA, OSHA, and FMLA. Maintains comprehensive library of resources and brochures, information on current Talecris policies, updated instructions; and local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Performs performance management, and goals and objectives setting for center employees. Works with Quality Supervisor to ensure that center is quality driven for successful regulatory audits. Prepares and submits daily operational reports to corporate office. Reviewed daily, weekly and monthly business plans by utilizing company's key performance indicators (KPI's). Completes new employee orientations while updating the employee data system and handling any Human Resource issues. Prepares operating procedures while processing correspondence. Reviews all incoming/outgoing mail and electronic mail. Maintains over 1500 medical record files for completeness and aqua- racy per Federal Drug Regulations
