Daily Duties at Murad Inc:

 Developed and redesigned the web interface to create landing pages links for use in the website. This interface significantly reduces the time spent in creating such links.  Implemented a progressive disclosure technique to the product catalog to enhance user experience and content relevance.  Developed a “What’s right for me?” feature which displays personalized results based on user inputs using JSP, HTML, CSS and Java, including a stored procedure to store and retrieve the data. This feature has received the maximum hits based on results from Google analytics  Developed a Java code to generate, accept and validate promotional codes during product checkout  Implemented Java , JSP and AJAX based feature for users to request product samples for evaluation purposes.  Completed website integration with Google maps to display company locations and driving directions using AJAX and JavaScript.  Integrated the website with “Instant Services” to direct user based queries as well as live chat requests to the respective departments  Created a “Quick register” feature, intended for new users. Used the Oracle iStore’s Java classes to customize it according to the needs.  Implemented the integration of the website with an address verification system using AJAX  Used JavaScript frameworks like “prototype” and “scriptaculous” to implement an accordion feature to enhance user interface.  Developed a mini-site for an important product with upsells using JSP, Java, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  Helped determine the hardware requirements for the high performance of the website by extensive research and analysis.
