Daily Duties at Abbott Laboratories:

· Project Manager/Engineer for all departmental Capital Projects <$250,000. · Managed operations support group and developed staff of 43 that provided comprehensive maintenance support 24/7 for HVAC/refrigeration, Environmental Controls, Building Automation Controls, Elevators, and High-Voltage Electricity for the site containing 101 buildings with a $1.2 million budget. · Developed and launched a business strategy which resulted in significant continuous improvements in FDA compliance for on-time completion of key performance indicators. · Drove an atmosphere of continuous improvement with relation to quality, cost, and effective use of resources. Cultivated relationships with cross-divisional groups supported by influencing relationships across multi-functional areas. · Mentored and engaged staff by assessing knowledge, skills, securing training needs and assigning progressively challenging tasks. · Conducted formal performance reviews on the basis of pre-determined objectives, receiving performance information from multiple sources, to communicate strengths and development needs to employees. · Ensured compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA, cGMP, Abbott Policies/Procedures and training requirements. · Acted as the CAPA Event Owner and Investigator to support multi-divisional CAPA Events. · Facilitated the development, and execution of On-the-Job Training Program with technical progression ensuring continuous improvement, consistency, quality, and cGMP compliance.
