Daily Duties at Abbott Laboratories:
· Drove strategic inventory reduction activities across the entire supply chain as the project manager that supported $217 million in inventory reductions over a three-year period. · Developed tools and had a lead-role in the Vendor Managed Inventory program that resulted in $2.4 million in inventory reduction, acted as the project manager for assigned plants. · Facilitated the $1.4 billion FYA Plan/Update process and the Long-Range Plan process, also prepared analysis for senior management. · Acted as a Consultant for supply chain optimization for assigned manufacturing plants, distribution centers, franchise planners, and marketing affiliates through business intelligence using mainly COGNOS and SAP. · Obtained buy-in from senior level executives, implemented strategies as project manager for inventory focusing on optimization while maintaining manufacturing efficiency and customer service targets to support Class A certification. · Implemented several continuous improvement ideas with strategic accountability that resulted in process efficiency and improved analytical capability. · Developed and administered global supply chain website that supported the Top 20 products throughout the entire development life cycle, including the on-going maintenance for the website.
