Daily Duties at Gujarat Electricity Board :

• Responsible for Maintenance of all boiler side auxiliaries i.e. – HT/LT MOTORS, FSSS/BMS LOGICS, BOILER inter Locks & Protection s, Breakers, PLC, MCC’s, soot Blowing system, ESP System, scanners, & UNIT LIT UP, ROLLING & SYNCRONISING activities & all connected / associated systems & equipments. • Responsible for Preventive, Predictive, Emergency & Breakdown Maintenance, Annual & Capital over Hauling Technical & Financial budgeting with resources (men power ,materials, time ,materials ,contract management etc ) . • General Administration work for the team of 15-20 subordinates and all the connected systems. • Responsible for commissioning, maintenance & operation of all boiler & turbine side System, BOILER TURBINE & PLANT PROTECTIONS ,GENERATOR PROTECTIONS Transformers, protection & inter locks, plc logics, HT/ LT MOTORS, Boiler control Logics - FSSS / BMS LOGICS, Inter Lock & Protections, Breakers, PLC, MCC’s, , soot Blowing system, ESP System, scanners, etc • Responsible for planning awarding the contractor, material procurement, , inventory for department ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Responsible To abstract the details daily from the log sheets of all the plants of all the units ,To prepare the data in format as per the requirement & to generate in efficiency reports as well as all the necessary reports for the submission to all the higher authorities of organization, state Government central government, authorities in time . • Responsible to check the main operating parameter of the plants for any abnormalities & to reports to all the authorities for the attention & remedial actions thereof • Responsible to update the daily, weekly, monthly, & yearly data & to keep records of the data. Monthly data submission • Responsible for Routine visit of the plant & control room for day to day updated information • Responsible for To prepare one day ahead generation schedule looking to the load -supply position , To maintain the sufficient fuel stock position as per the system requirements • Responsible To prepare technical & financial budget • Responsible for monitoring the plant important data affecting the plant performance.
