Daily Duties at Structured Logic Company:
Equipment Management System (EMS) Team consultant for Transamerica Leasing Corporation. Tested and documented the Windows Information Services (IS) Development LAN. Downloaded, converted, tested and demonstrated an online time reporting system to run in the Windows/Micro Focus platform. Completed enhancements and problem logs. Converted, compiled and tested the batch EMS programs from COBOL to COBOL II on the LAN and mainframe. Responsible for identification, conversion, transmission and testing of the EMS Tracking JCL, procedures and control cards for the data center migration from New York to Los Angeles. Scheduled the EMS Tracking jobs into the Control M production control system. Enhanced EMS Tracking reports sorting data by area and region. Designed, coded, tested, implemented and maintained the EMS/FLEXX Reporting system. EMS/FLEXX reports reconcile equipment inventory, additions and deletions of units on Finance Lease Plans. Analyzed performance enhancements for the EMS Billing monthly cycle. Implemented batch QMF jobs for EMS procurement users. Maintained the OS/2 IS Development LAN. (Mainframe: COBOL, COBOL II, DB2, QMF, JCL, IBM Utilities and Control M Scheduler. Client/Server: OS/2 2.1, Communications Manager 1.1, Micro Focus COBOL 3.1, Netware IPX/SPX, MS Windows for Workgroups 3.1, Micro Focus COBOL 3.2.46 - CICS 3.0.50 - HCO 2.018, IBM DATABASE 2 Software Developer's Kit for DOS 1.2, IBM DATABASE 2 1.2 with Multi-user gateway DDCS/2 2.2, IRMA 3.0, and Novell Netware 3.12)
