Daily Duties at Danaher :

- Managed the product quality aspect of several large cost savings projects - Developed cell layouts for new processes - Worked closely with the packaging engineer to ensue the proper visual representation of the product to the customer - Worked with the warehousing manager to ensure that product was being stored and shipped properly - Assisted in setting up new product routing from the manufacturing stage to shipping - Preformed quality inspections and audits to confirm that products were in compliance with ASTM and customer standards and issued monthly reports on the findings - Worked with outside contractors on process improvement projects - Assisted in new product development and preformed tests to assure that it met the customer’s requirements - Assisted in preparing product cost quotes and BOM’s for customers - Preformed time studies of new products for proper costing - Had an active role in supervising new products during their initial production period and reporting the results back to the design - Assisted in the conception, design, and layout of a new waste water treatment system - Headed a furnace fire suppression system upgrade project to conform to current regulations - Had an active role in a steam system renovation project, which included preparing a plant wide steam flow diagram and piping layout - Designed and implement a hazardous/non-hazardous waste tracking and cost analysis program - Headed a machine Lockout-Tagout project throughout the entire plant - Preformed safety/environmental audits of various equipment and processes - Preformed audits of hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage areas to ensure government permit compliance - Developed several policies and programs as well as corresponding training programs - Instructed large and small training sessions for new company policies
