Safety Manager for the Construction Department of Westfield, LLC. Full responsibility for the company’s Construction Safety and Loss Control Program in the eastern half of the United States. Projects ranged in size from $100,000 to $250 million and included the construction, expansion and renovation of company properties. • Partnered effectively with management and project teams to identify and eliminate hazardous conditions, and evaluate and monitor safety performance of contractors. • Improved contractor safety performance through by the company’s contractor safety pre-qualification program for projects within the assigned territory. • Recognized for creating solid relationships across multiple departments and organizational levels resulting in improved compliance with internal requirements and safety performance. • Selected to develop, review, and edit procedures in the United States to meet Westfield’s global safety and health requirements and initiatives. • Awarded additional responsibilities to include projects in Washington and California based on outstanding prior year performance.
