Manage destination parcel distribution in Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska which involves managing customers, team members, operational issues; develop and facilitate all production processes including the tracking, pick-up and delivery and quality check processes; manage freight pickup, parcel sorting, loading to delivery drivers trucks and final delivery of parcels; interview job applicants complying with all company hiring policies; plan, organize and direct activities of four to 15 team members; evaluate efficiency and productivity of assigned team members by establishing performance standards and objectives and conduct regular performance appraisals; assist team members in goal setting and skill development; provide feedback on disciplinary actions and administer positive discipline; provide training and coaching to all team members; set priorities of distribution warehouse projects; track, review and transmit payroll to finance office; ensure work produced by team members is in accordance with company standards; establish, monitor and comply with quality control procedures; ensure distribution warehouse has necessary supplies, equipment and inventory; set team work schedules including meals, rest periods, and time off; responsible for coordination of all shipping related services and activities including quality customer service and determination of appropriate delivery methods; provide customers with customized delivery 24/7; assist customers by internally tracking each parcel at every phase of transportation until delivered to their front door; assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items on pallets, inserting into shipping containers, weighing parcels, affixing labels to parcels and completing all transportation paperwork; Transportation Security Administration program monitor for the Alaska Region, ensuring all TSA regulations and testing are met for company warehouse and all team members.
