Daily Duties at Us Air Force:

Planned and scheduled aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements; developed plans and established production schedules to meet mission requirements; scheduled aerospace vehicles, aerospace ground equipment, munitions, missiles, and associated support systems through maintenance phases; determined maintenance capabilities to aid in developing operational schedules; prepared weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements; coordinated with base activities to ensure support was available to meet schedules; managed aerospace vehicles, engines, munitions, missiles, aerospace ground equipment, and selected equipment inventory data; reconciled flying hour data with Aircraft Operations function; scheduled and monitored workload requirements; advised maintenance operation center (MOC) supervisor and appropriate Maintenance and Operation Group commanders of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules; used automated systems to schedule and monitor maintenance activities' workloads; scheduled maintenance jobs, establish work priorities, and monitored completion times; operated maintenance information systems (MIS) and maintained equipment records to support applicable weapons systems; coordinated with maintenance data systems analysis to establish automated support requirements; maintained and audited weapon systems records; collected, reviewed, and filed documented information for planning and scheduling maintenance actions; maintained historical records for weapons and support systems; managed the weapons system configuration, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), special inspection, and time change program and their related MIS; managed proper warehousing, inventory and distribution of parts and part kits; ensured accurate documentation of aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, aerospace ground equipment configurations, TCTO, time change items, and special inspections.
