Associate Marketer (Temporary), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (February 2008—August 2009) • Assigned as marketing lead for two book lines within the Health Professions division in May 2009. Duties included: o Managed a wide range of marketing tools, including promotional materials, direct-mail pieces, and Web site content. o Lead market research initiatives to support brand positioning, pricing and marketing communications efforts. o Maintained communication with management and sales representatives to ensure marketing activities align with business goals and sales efforts. Responsible to promote, market, and increase site traffic for online product website featuring over 300 educational titles. o Co-lead contextual redesign project to improve online site functionality and product offerings. o Developed instructional “quick start guides” to improve user experience. o Led marketing of beta ecommerce pilot. Assisted the nursing marketing team with the development of marketing flyers, brochures, and communications for select high profile books and electronic products.
