Managed The Crossings, the main hotel restaurant, Arbor Bar, Room Service, Kitchen, Banquet and Audio Visual Departments. • Developed and implemented long and short term management strategy, increasing quality of service, associate morale, and profitability. • Coordinated with marketing and sales to double profit margin and increase revenue by 50%. • Implemented effective cost reduction and productivity improvement programs, resulting in scores within the top 5 of 334 full service Marriott hotels. • Substantially improved cash flow through reduction of cost, waste management, accurate forecasting, and associate training, while maintaining customer service levels. • Led a team of 14 department managers and supervisors to successfully execute their duties and responsibilities; mentored and counseled department staff; and identified potential future leaders, training and preparing them for promotional opportunities.
