Daily Duties at Exxon Mobil Corporation:
• Coordinate worldwide activities in Africa, Middle East and Asia for GR Manager and International Advisors with the objective to enhance ExxonMobil community, corporate and public relations. • Assist with communicating with third party trade associations, Executive Branch, non profits, business coalitions and Capitol Hill on lobbying issues. • Responsible for expanding key outreach objectives of the International Government Relations group by attending local meetings in DC, preparing presentations, reports, and other written materials. • Research international political and social developments to assess their potential impact on ExxonMobil's international business ventures. Includes issues like trade, visas, international lawsuits, foreign policies and monitoring federal legislative issues on how it affects corporate communications strategies. • Manage the GR team's internal functions including finances, corporate sponsorships and contributions of over $5 million, calculate expenditures for annual travel/operating budget of $230k. • Facilitate meetings and conferences with US government, Embassies, trade associations, think tanks & other non profit organizations. • Assisted the Communication's team with writing/placement opinion-editorials, speech writing and internal company-wide updates on senior management public speeches.
