Daily Duties at Graeber Simmons & Cowan, Inc.:

Supervise three person staff and all functions of accounting and finance. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and communicate financial status to ownership. Prepare, administer and review all employee benefits. Review, negotiate and administer the general and professional liability policies. Prepare, process and maintain Payroll, A/P, A/R, Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements, General Ledger and Billing.  Work with Principals of the firm to develop financial goals and strategies.  Work with Principals and department heads to prepare the annual budget.  Prepare monthly revenue forecast.  Prepare and review monthly and year-end closings.  Monthly account reconciliations.  Review and negotiate banking services and needs.  Prepare, review and analyze project evaluation reports.  Prepare and post all monthly adjusting journal entries.  Prepare all payroll related tax reports including 941, state and federal unemployment.  Maintain financials for multiple entities using Quickbooks.
