Daily Duties at Pjm Interconnection:

Hired as a PMO - Management Consultant to provide tactical, structured, and process driven directions. Led a highly visible program of complex projects such Infrastructure, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), Shared Architecture, and state of the art Generation Control Application solutions from inception through closing.  Incorporated PMO standards and best practices and assisted in ensuring the use of defined project management methods across the organization.  Spearheaded increased awareness for PMO and improved quality processes across both internal and external organizations by educating the value and importance of the PMO and quality process.  Managed $14.5MM business continuity and resiliency program in terms of Scope, Schedule, Cost, Resource, and Quality.  Directed, Managed, and Mentored Project Coordinators, Work Package Leads, and cross-functional teams (26 persons). Managed vendors such as Siemens, AREVA, and SAIC.  Key and successful collaborator in negotiating scope, schedule, budget. Acted as liaison among vendors, stakeholders, leadership team, and executive committee to achieve corporate goals. Worked with PJM procurement, vendor management, project sponsors, stakeholders, and technical staff to ensure contract delivery for program level SOW and agreement with outside vendors. Practical knowledge in RFI, RFP, and contractual process.  Acted as a principal point of escalation for risks and issues related to the program. Demonstrated ability to resolve critical issues within constraints of schedule, cost, and functionality. Known for achieving a balanced and successful solution.  Highly experienced in creating, monitoring, maintaining project plans complying with the relevant PM standards and reporting requirements. Proficient in using MS Project and practical knowledge of scheduling concepts such as critical path, float, and earned value.  Demonstrated expertise creating and maintaining project plan, WBS, schedule, status reports, risk, issue and communication plans. Expert in forecasting, budget tracking, and managing projects variances by taking corrective action in a timely manner.  Managed and performed financials analysis using SAP and MSP tools, generated detailed and summarized financial executive reports. Prepared weekly and bi-weekly program status reports. Experience with score card and dashboard reporting.
