Daily Duties at Wheco Corporation:

Responsible for the day-to-day management for the east coast facility of this global engineered crane repair company including the direct manage`ement of multiple projects simultaneously. Procurement of all project related parts and materials as well as all necessary consumables. Creation of individual job proposals based on inspections and research of archives, equipment logs, service manuals, parts manuals, and past experiences. Responsible for the development of sales proposals, scopes of work, pricing, materials research, and specialized tooling; while directly managing projects to ensure customer satisfaction, on time delivery, and adherence to exacting quality guidelines. Tracking cash flow of open jobs and backlogs which exceeds two million dollars at any given time. Knowledgeable in ASTM, AWS, ANSI, and NIOSH standards.  Responsibilities also include hiring, training, and supervising all site employees, and safety and environmental compliance management.  Organize and lead safety meetings, and document safety requirements to meet OSHA requirements.  Prepare, implement, scale, compute, and operate test lifts to ensure repaired equipment meets or exceeds nationally recognized standards. In addition, manage metallurgical matching of high-strength metals to ensure repairs meet AWS welding standards.
