Daily Duties at Hughes Network Systems:

• Served as assistant training program manager for large satellite network customer; integrated four vendors’ training requirements into a single integrated training plan; presented training plan to customer • Served as primary trainer for telephony satellite communication system. Traveled internationally to support a United Nations station in Italy as well as other organizations in Germany, Lesotho, Oman and Guinea. Maintained the in-house classroom network. Performed software updates and solved network problems, when necessary. Installed new indoor and outdoor equipment; including parabolic antennas, outdoor RF equipment, and indoor equipment racks. Returned faulty equipment. • Designed, developed, and revised VSAT satellite communication systems training • Fostered relationships with other engineers and program managers and stayed abreast of changes in technology and manufacturing • Ensured all training courses exceeded certification standards as set by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET)
