General Manager Started as manager of the eastern zone from San Cristóbal to Maracaibo Areas and then promoted to Administrator, to Financial Manager and finally to General Manager. • Established strategies to be followed for recovery and extension of client’s portfolio • Designed manuals of functions & procedures. Defined control formats, implemented norms & rules to be adopted in the Company Headquarters and the five(5) branches. • Involved in all areas of business, in order to be able to prioritize, manage and track multiple activities and tasks • Took decisions on how to change and improve the company’s image & strategies as well as to develop better clients & employees relationship • Recovered funds retained by semi-private companies such as Energía Eléctrica de Venezuela (Enelven) and Energía Eléctrica Costa Oriental del Lago (Enelco) • Regulated and improved costumer service, regarding relations of company/client communications and company/financial interrelations procedures. Review, update and renegotiation of service contracts • Analyzed the structure of costs and I established the true cost of the service, which guided to establish a suitable and profitable price of the service • Negotiated purchase orders and made financial arrangements to acquire company vehicles • Organized and negotiated financial bank documentation required to obtain 100 million Bs. (US 50.000$ aprox) Loan for the acquisitions of specialized weapons, safety equipment, uniforms and IT equipment. This was done in representation of the Government as an especial project managed by this office • Responsible for input and assuring accuracy for all types of bank data, checking books processing related to Credit Cards and Bank Accounts. Provided logistical support for application processing and controlling payroll activities and accounting supports as well • Responsible for making documents and processing transactions for Licensing and Permits before Government organizations to the Servicio Nacional de Contrataciones (SNC)- National Service for Trade and Contract Negotiations, and to the Dirección de Armas y Explosivos de la Fuerzas Armada (DARFA)- Military Joint Forces Weapons and Explosives National Ditactorate • Prepared and wrote internal and external communications memorandums and correspondence, including internal and external financial reports • Determined and established new costs structure and new cost systems to allow more consistent and consequent results according to the new financial reports. Also responsible to prepare and approve payable and receivable accounts. Played instrumental role in enhancing discussions to arrive to legal agreements between layers and workers of the companies • Audited over every accounting record and administrative report • Negotiated, contracted and followed up of all insurance policies, related to life, HCM, vehicle’s fleet, assets, etc. • Organized the chronogram of payments so that the priorities were covered in the established legal lapses, and of which the financial needs destined to payroll and operative expenses would not represent immediate urgencies
