Daily Duties at Usaf 58th Training Squadron:

Responsible for procurement, modification, maintenance and management of the HH-60G Flight Engineer student and instructor formal aircrew training courses. Ensured the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process was correctly applied to all flight engineer courseware. Developed, wrote, validated and revised student initial qualification and instructor courseware as well as managed and directed flight engineer requirements for two aircrew training devices worth over $80M. Coordinated with higher headquarters on evolving operational requirements to maintain up-to-date curriculum. Compiled information used to calculate flying time and recommended aircrew training standards, policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of learning was achieved. Instructed and evaluated student flight engineers on HH-60G academics, aircraft systems, procedures, combat search and rescue operations, helicopter gunnery, alternate insertion/extraction operations and night vision goggle training. Participated in flights as a combat-ready crew member and enlisted aircrew instructor.
