Daily Duties at Usaf Headquarters Air Education And Training Command :
Developed and managed flying training policy requirements for all United States Air Force helicopters and special operations aircraft. Assisted in managing $790M Special Operations and Combat Rescue aircrew training program. Authored and edited syllabi for over 100 flying training courses in seven major weapons systems. Drafted and coordinated training, operations and standardization and evaluation policies for AETC/A2A3 with Air Staff, five MAJCOMs and other staff agencies. Studied and completed Defense Acquisition University Acquisition 101 course. Possess working knowledge of the DOD Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution System and resource allocation process; AF policies and procedures for developing the Program Objective Memoranda process, the Budget Estimate Submissions and Financial Plans. Subject matter expert in the operations, products, services, needs and goals of Special Operations and Combat Search and Rescue programs and related customer functions, resources and users. Subject matter expert for rated and non-rated aviator Air Force Special Operations and Combat Rescue training, operating procedures and standardization and evaluation programs. Project lead to research, study, analyze and present possible solutions to General Officer-level decision makers on the HH-60G Flight Engineer washout rate at the formal training unit. Coordinated with Air Force Research Lab to further study the issue. Developed and coordinated a small group tryout through the Air Staff to study and evaluate a Flight Engineer undergraduate flying course that coincided with helicopter pilot undergraduate flight training. Led team of instructors to conduct the course, tracked students through graduate training and presented findings to decision makers resulting in Genereal Officer-level approval to proceed with the initiative. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Inspector for AETC Inspector General's Operational Readiness Inspections. Directorate Senior NCO of the Quarter. Division Senior NCO of the Year.
