Daily Duties at Deloitte & Touche Llp:
- Understanding audit objectives as it relates to client’s business. Performing risk assessments and financial analysis of balance sheet and income statement, including analysis by business lines, identifying inefficiencies, potential revenue losses, recognizing significant variances, trends, and irregularities and summarizing clearly and concisely to client management. - Planning, designing, enhancing and executing tailored audit programs, establishing and communicating clear priorities and expectations to staff. - Effectively directing the audit team, supervising and providing on job training to less experienced staff members, reviewing work papers, performing staff evaluations and providing candid and constructive feedback. - Completing complex procedures on engagements including detailed account analysis, reviewing significant reconciling items and challenging management estimates and assumptions. - Performing accounting research and reviewing application of new accounting pronouncements to clients business or industry. - Preparing and reviewing client financial statement, footnote disclosures and final audit report in an efficient & timely manner. - Meeting client deadlines for filing audit reports with Health departments and various regulatory authorities in all stated where Luxottica Retail does business. - Served as primary point of contact for client management during engagement fieldwork. Always been proactive in communicating and discussing audit adjustments with management in a timely manner. - Identified operational and financial improvement opportunities for client engagements and thereby contributed to a strong client relationship through continuous interactions with client personnel. - Preparing internal budgets and analyzing actual hours incurred to budget. Using technology efficiently to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery
