Daily Duties at Siemens/Shared Medical Systems:

Managed processes encompassing Request for Proposals in accordance with current system requirements, workflow analyses, and reengineered system processes. Selected and evaluated vendors and processes and maintained registration and billing planning. Initiated policies related to development activities, vendor tracking, and automated follow-up. Organized clinical and financial systems installations and support, upgraded work plans, and ensured timely system deliveries.  Launched a patient account and collection system to establish compliance systems with patient billing requirements.  Collaboratively reduced accounts receivable from 120 days to 65 days within three month period through process redesign and new technology.  Introduced Raiser’s Edge grant accounting system thus allowing more efficient tracking of all grants opposed to a paper/manual system.  Project managed the timely implementation of a client-server operating room system including HL7 interface from ADT to OR system and batch charge interface to billing system.
