Daily Duties at University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center Physician Group:
Planned, organized, and successfully executed all projects for new solutions improvement of operations including revenue cycle, information technology, payroll and purchasing. Prepared expense and operating budgets of more than $150M. Executed cost benefit analysis and business plans for new and existing services. Oversaw enrollment/credentialing for 175 faculty and 300 CRNAs. Effectively applied methodology and enforced project standards while designing new processes, coordinating new service design, and executing service analysis. Outlined engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Prepared and delivered reports to Executive Management, recommendations, and alternatives that addressed existing and potential problem areas. Facilitated staff training, vendor management, and information presentations to executive management. Collaborated in the design and implementation of strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity met existing and future requirements Instrumental in the promotion, design, and launch of a web-based enrollment system with automates work-queue’s and email reminders. Developed paperless environment by introducing a Document Imaging system for credentialing and privileging. Dramatically improved productivity of clinical and administrative functions by introducing process reengineering and leading edge technology. Gained acknowledgment for consistently showcasing superior communication, team building, and performance abilities. Successfully executed an automated productivity and clinical incentive plan for 150 physicians thus establishing pay for performance motivation.
