Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente:
Served as National Inpatient Application Coordinator on EPIC Suite to ensure the architecture of collaborative records for master files and categorized lists coordinate with those of Northern California Kaiser regional district Troubleshot and resolved regional issues Extracted and analyzed data to identify key healthcare redesign business issues Prepared preliminary interpretations of analysis and recommended actions based on results to senior management Participated in the development of project proposals, recommendations, implementation plans, communications packages, performance measurement tools, and training materials associated with electronic record system and reported to back to upper management Managed calendars for five co-workers and schedule direct reports to meet deadlines and to ensure project goals were obtained Key Achievements: Attended training in Madison, Wisconsin to attain EPIC Inpatient Suite certification Played a vital role in assisting national-level team set up an electronic record system using EPIC Inpatient Suite Wrote instructions on how to load national data into master files and set up schedule for change management Received Flying Pig Award for meeting upper management’s end-of-the-year data loads (January 2005) Awarded Annual Incentive Plan consisting of 5% of annual base pay for 2004
