Daily Duties at Va Medical Center:

Computer Specialist 1996-1997 Worked as member of the Information Resource Management team in deployment of server and desktop computer systems in a local and wide area network. Utilized Novell networking and assisted in implementation of one of the first VA Windows NT network schemes. Directly responsible for supporting Radiology Medical Imaging system, voice dictation, and the radiology information system. Supervisor, Radiology Service 1991-1996 Supervised and trained a staff of three individuals to support the Medical Imaging system and radiology information system. Assisted the chief technologist and radiology administrative office in staffing schedules and supplies for the department. Provided budgeting figures to the administrative officer to assist in planning for future expansion of the medical imaging system. Supported the radiology information system, office automation system, and voice dictation system for the radiology department.
