Daily Duties at Raytheon:

Responsible for hardware and software engineering support in Configuration Management and Quality Assurance associated with the U.S. Navy’s A-6E, EF-111, F/A-18, MH-53, and V-22 Flight Simulation Programs. Also responsible for the generation and development of various documents for the U.S. Navy in accordance with the appropriate Government Contract and Military Specification.  Developed software script/batch files to generate various contract required database and I/O listings for the A-6E, V-22, and F/A-18 programs  Developed and maintained Software Work Breakdown Structures for control of software configuration  Used UNIX and Gould tools/editors to update, comment and compile FORTRAN, ADA, and Assembler software programs  Wrote Program Design Language (PDL) to accurately reflect the software code  Maintained and audited Hardware Engineering Drawing (Access) Database  Lead Technical Writer on various D.O.D. programs  Generated documents directly from source code and engineering data  Insure that all documents and code conform to appropriate military specifications (DD1423, MIL-STD 1644B, MIL-STD 2167A, etc.)  Scheduling – layout project production schedules to include all detailed tasks and major program milestones  Customer Interface – Provided response and incorporation of customer comments on all delivered documentation  Program Accounting – Track material and labor costs for budget status and proposal costing purposes  Held D.O.D. secret clearance 1983 through 1998.
