Provided decisive, action-driven leadership as integral member of 4-officer team challenged with monitoring and ensuring adequacy of bank’s loan loss reserve. Directed 4-5 support staff and in-depth loan portfolio analysis for 22 subsidiary banks. Conducted annual, on-site review and assessment of complex commercial financial statements and tax returns, credit reports, collateral information and appraisals. Identified lending process deficiencies, expanded loan and appraisal policies, and ensured compliance with corporate, state, and federal regulations. Wrote quarterly analyses of each bank, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks based upon economic climate, credit concentrations and trends, level of grade changes, policy exceptions, and regulatory violations.
