Daily Duties at Riverside Auto Auction:

• Daily inventory control of raw materials (sand paper, paint, clear coat, masking tape etc). • Place an order for body shop raw materials • Run daily reports on AS400 to forecast how many cars need parts. • Print work order for each car and review and analyze the parts it needed. • Check cars physically to avoid order wrong auto parts. • Call dealers to order parts or use Dcnet and Ultra mate system to shop on line for special make and models like BMW and Jaguars. • Received and put away parts and raw materials on respective shelf ordered the day before. • Retrieve signed invoices from vendors and enter accurate information on the respective purchasing order on AS400. • Created a copy of the invoice to be attached to the part and place it on respective shelf according to make of the car. • Created a quick parts inventory to deliver parts on respective cars for parts installers’ crew. • Deliver brand new bumpers, writing the paint code and work number on the back for “bumper crew” in order to be prepared for painting. • Return wrong auto parts to obtained credit invoices • Reconcile invoices, credits and work orders • Print a daily spread sheet that control raw materials usages break it down by departments. • Daily micro meeting with Body shop manager to forecast next day work load.
