Daily Duties at Motorola Inc.:
Managed time, material, and forty-five member staff of thirty-seven Flexible Manufacturing Operators and eight PC Board Analysis Technicians. • Provided leadership and discipline that directly contributed to the consistent attainment of production goals within the first three months of employment and consistently met production goals and requirements thereafter. During tenure, lead a team of associates that broke all production records for the previous 20+ years of operation which included: number of units produced, percentage of first pass yields, and attainment of customer requested ship dates (CRSD). • Monitored and managed production quality and quantity of manufacturing associates resulting in an improvement of first pass yields to 90%+ from a previous norm of approximately 70%, across seven printed circuit boards product lines and sustained this quality level consistently for over 18 consecutive months. • Reduced CRSD lead time from nine months from order to delivery when I began this job assignment, to 3 weeks upon my transfer to a new position. Consequently, this performance contributed to the closing of a prebuild distribution center as a cost savings measure for the company due to becoming obsolete based on my attainment of a real life just in time manufacturing operation.
