Daily Duties at Motorola Inc.:
Served as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for the Standards and Guidelines for Communications Sites (Motorola’s R56 Communications Site Quality Assurance Program) throughout the Southern Division. • Responsible for conducting the quality audits for over 75% of all system installations for R56 compliance prior to customer signoff and final acceptance over the past five years in the Southern Division. • Conducted over 80% of all R56 quality pre-audits for pre-existing customer sites prior to the delivery and installation of communications equipment from CCSI. This was a profitable "green money" service, which boosted the department's overall revenues. • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving grounding and system damage or disruption issues due to lightning strikes. In some cases, I was requested specifically by name, by the customer to troubleshoot their grounding on a direct billing basis producing additional "green money" revenues for the department. • Member of numerous optimization teams for the Systems Technologist who troubleshoot and optimize various radio communications systems throughout Southern Division (to include Z Upgrades, Quantar Channel Bank Upgrades, software and firmware upgrades) prior to customer sign-off. • Conducted several T1 Link Quality Control Audits, most recently for N Myrtle Beach, SC, City of Louisville, KY, Cobb County, GA, and submitted detailed reports of audit results for customer review. • Conducted coverage testing using FACTWARE and VOYAGER test software products for the NYPD MotoMesh wireless broadband project in lower the Manhattan area. • Coordinated the assembling of carts with ML900s mounted for in building and sidewalk coverage testing of MotoMesh mobile data system. • Member of the RF coverage testing team using FACTWare / Voyager coverage acceptance tools for the Washington, DC Fire project. Praised for level of professionalism demonstrated working with customer representatives. • Created, implemented, and instituted the R56 Pre-requisite Information (PRI) Sheet, which was used to collect pertinent system information to inform the inspector, customer, and concerned third parties for the smooth coordination and execution of R56 Audits.
