Daily Duties at Bfs Entertainment & Multimedia Ltd:
Sold DVD new releases and catalog titles to an established customer base, which includes major entertainment retail accounts, Internet, mail-order, DVD distributors and direct response companies. Prospecting, developing new business accounts and specific promotions was an area I continually excelled in. Our sales volume increased in North America during my employment from less than $3 million in fiscal year 2000 to over $10 million while maintaining high profit margins, controlling operating and marketing costs. Highly motivated, analytical individual, strategic business planning, and determining accurate product placement and specific promotions for the class of trade mentioned was one of my strengths. RON LEHMAN Page 2 Forecasting and executing sales budgets and goals for my department, and managing our sales manager for Canadian accounts, were my responsibilities. Orchestrated acquisitions of all new products, instituting pricing, contracts, implementing marketing plans and package design on all properties. Worked with over 100 media/publication companies for purposes of product reviews, editorial and position placement, in addition to advertising of product placement and marketing solutions with our media accounts was a direct area of the sales department. The department maintained data management of customer and media accounts and managed one outside Canadian sales representative.
