Daily Duties at Patriot Bank :
Manages and directs the development of Bank job specifications, job screening and recruitment activities, and selection of staff for promotions, change of job assignments, terminations or transfers. Recommends salary increases, as suggested by financial institution department heads, to the CFO or senior management. Performs and analyzes salary surveys to compare the financial institution’s pay rates with those of competitors. Prepares salary rate changes, as appropriate. Manages records on the financial institution’s employee incentive plans. Monitors and makes recommendations to ensure the financial institution is in compliance with employment laws and practices. Maintains Affirmative Action plan and keeps recruiting practices in compliance with laws and regulations. Manages the payroll processing activities threw ADP payroll processing. Participates in the preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs, such as insurance plans, 401(k) plans, paid time off and bonus plans. Evaluates services, coverage and options available through insurance and investment companies to assure the Bank’s programs meet the needs of the staff in a cost-effective manner. Prepares recommendations for benefit plan changes to management. Prepares notifications to employees of changes in benefits programs. Handles benefit functions such as updating records, processing insurance claims, and communicates with insurance broker and COBRA administrator.
