Daily Duties at Eastern New Mexico Rehabilitative Services For The Handicapped:
Assists project manager in insuring quality control and is responsible for all work conforming to or exceeding specifications. Monitors and teaches quality control. Provides direct supervision of individual employees. Instructs and trains employees. Evaluates employees’ performance and identifies areas needing additional training. Teaches employees how to perform job tasks properly and safely. Monitors and teaches safety for all employees. Is responsible for the correct care of equipment. Assists with inventory control functions. Ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times. Issues and handles controlled forms-ensures forms are used and stored properly. Issues banks, verifies cash, reads cash register tape. Occasionally deposits money and supporting paperwork. Conducts inventories. Controls expendable supplies-ensures proper use of equipment and chemicals. Effectively utilizes labor and resources. Schedules employees for the shift. In the absence of the Project Manager, is the contract representative. Accompanies QAE in other government inspections.
