 Analyzed and modified programs, storage allocations, JCL specifications, and schedules to allow for tremendous increases in processing volume, defer CPU upgrades where possible, exceed SLAs, and save CPU cycles or MIPs, and Storage.  Developed, wrote and conducted or taught “Best Practices” mini-courses in Coding, VSAM, JCL, SORT, File Allocation, and Monitoring Tools, to application programmers and analysts to increase productivity, reduce cost, and standardize procedures.  Coordinated the planning, development of Test Scripts, and execution of Validation and Regression Tests of 3rd party software implementations and upgrades.  Responsible for maintaining a home-grown ETL for the Performance and Capacity Management Reporting system.  Accountable for tracking, collecting, documenting, reporting, and presenting the department’s Performance and Capacity Management changes and metrics.  Analyzed current and potential workflows, systems, and procedures for improvement and cost
