Proven ability to organize the day to day operation of the Group Travel Department. Communicate quality results to management at weekly meetings and recommend actions to improve. Demonstrate and proven ability to negotiate rates and contracts with hotels and vendors. Responsible for providing weekly sales reports and rooming manifests. Demonstrate initiative in handling client inquires to positively impact the business. Coach and motivate a team of 5 to improve quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. Organize and oversee group hotel reservations and event planning
