Daily Duties at American Express Business Travel:
Provide timely and accurate business travel services including but not limited to air/rail transportation, hotels, car and limousine reservations for domestications and international travel. Identify efficient routes, lowest available fares, exchanges rates for domestic and international travel with the knowledge of geography and cost effective routes. Proven ability to work queues that require split ticketing, ticket exchanges and invoicing. Proficient in fare calculations, exchanges/refunds & understanding fare rules. Increase productivity and client satisfaction by providing new staff with the necessary tools. Possess excellent problem solving skills and the ability to use the Internet effectively to service our clients. Coach and motivate associates to meet or exceed department goals by providing continuous feedback and quality tips. Identify key quality gaps in productivity, find solutions and drive results. Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to promote products. Recognition from clients for the proven ability to organize and prioritize issues. Evaluate and develop new staff via one on one sessions and written communications. Provide service to all accounts to accommodate business needs. Achieved status as dedicated agent for Morgan Stanley account in 2005. Employee of the Month in September 2005. Team Captain February and May 2006. A team player, a problem solver & I have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Demonstrate excellence by reducing costs to the company via waivers and favors.
