Daily Duties at Handleman Company:
• Served as technical lead analyst on projects and work requests along side management. • Led technical team (EDI, AS400, PC, Mainframe) and others on projects. • Created weekly status reports of project progress including investigation, requirements, design, building, testing and implementation. • Led team of programmers in knowledge of system and systems flow. • Responsible for front-line support of critical applications. • Subject matter expert for inventory reporting system and production system • Worked with the business to understand the business functions and requirements for the work requests, projects and single stream processes. • Developed solutions that meet the needs of the business, working within all phases of the SDLC to include defining the requirements, conducting analysis and design, and developing design specifications on work efforts of small size and complexity, focusing on work requests and single stream processes. • Provided 24-hour production support for complex mainframe system.
