Daily Duties at Ericsson:
Creativity • Conceived, convinced and led the design and development of a new WiMAX Common Software Platform for division in Sweden, recognized for saving over ten man-years of product development time and costs • Initiated redesign and completed technical architecture for a challenging push-to-talk solution for a top-tier telecom service provider, new solution enabled easy scaling to enhanced group calling features • Created system design for data capabilities in mobile network-in-box product, design incorporated in to final product development Analytics • Broke a three-month problem-solving deadlock in developing a load verification solution and meeting customer deadline • Identified major customer complaint areas while leading product roll out and translated these to product design requirements resulting in 100% increase in service availability and increased product usability • Completed the execution of an Ericsson-wide test equipment selection investigation, project is guiding $1B in test equipment sourcing investments Teamwork and Leadership • Provided technical leadership to a team of seven to develop a company strategic top-ten service delivery product • Led the product launch and roll-out of base stations for TATA INDICOM, India and helped product redesign based on first-hand customer feedback and field realities • Designed and Developed the cellular base station product as member of a team of twelve, product successfully launched in market on schedule • Received Outstanding Performance Award in the 2006 and 2007 reviews, awarded to less than 2% of employees in the Boulder office
