Daily Duties at Gibbs & Soell, Inc:

2000-2007: Led team that launched 4 key products within brand family; led PR activities for 3 additional brands nationwide. Managed $1 million+ in fees and coordinated multi-office team of full-time staff, freelancers and vendors. • Helped create integrated marketing campaigns that included media relations, collateral, e-business, retailer support, advertorials, white papers, etc. • Helped client compete against market-leading brand, gaining media coverage that established positioning much stronger than relative share of market. • Won Mercury International PR Award and 4 agricultural communications (NAMA) awards. • Generated 8 million reader impressions in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Performed full range of account management activities, including program consultation, development and implementation, client counsel and service, and budget management. • Created PR plans, and crafted feature articles, lead packages, print and radio news releases, brochures and bulletins, web content, results reports. • Contributed expert interview articles for a client e-magazine. 1997-1999: Directed PR programs for 4 other crop protection brands and assisted on 3 additional product PR campaigns Client: Carrier Corporation (1991-1997) • Handled all facets of account management and implementation for 2 commercial heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) business units. • Helped produce and conduct Carrier-sponsored media/industry seminar, which: o helped Carrier build and strengthen relationships with consumer and trade media, o garnered coverage with a value much greater than the cost of producing the seminar, and o won a Mercury International PR award. • Launched several commercial HVAC products through media events, particularly at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson and a Brooklyn Union Gas plant in Long Island City. • Prepared speeches, feature articles, news releases, case histories, bylined articles, etc. Client: The Dow Chemical Company (1990-1991) Account Supervisor – with full range of account responsibilities. Managed PR programs for calcium and magnesium brands.
