Daily Duties at Mid Cape Home Center:

-Managing the Estimating Department providing special services to the Contractors by creating accurate and prompt material takeoffs for decks, renovations, new residential and commercial projects, using the DQ Technologies Digitizing system. Take-offs include framing, Engineered Wood products, doors and interior millwork. -Create and update checklists, component selection, data configuration, preset packages and inventory within the estimating software. -Trained and supervised all new estimators using the digitized system. -Supervise the estimating staff of 7 employees, which includes time management within a web based payroll program, job accuracy, monthly meetings, monthly reports, reviews, department coverage, product knowledge education, hiring and termination process as needed. -Liaison between Estimating department, sales department, IT Helpdesk, policy committee and shipping department. -Maintain and update bid spec sheets, monthly reports, forecast reports, budget reports, spreadsheets, and all other related documentation.
