Daily Duties at Computer Task Group:
I was responsible for the support of systems for TIG Insurance in an outsource environment. My primary function was as a CICS Systems Programmer supporting CICS 3.3 under OS/390 in a multi-region configuration using ACF2 security. My primary responsibilities include CICS table maintenance, CICS problem determination using IPCS, and CICS maintenance using SMPE. Additional responsibilities included support for subordinate application systems of TOSS E-Mail, Intertest, Omegamon, CA-DADS, and MDI Gateway. I also worked as an IMS and DB2 Database Administrator supporting the database needs for data warehouse and the insurance application areas.
