Daily Duties at Ramtron International :
• Introduced and maintained ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS). Started TS 16949 • Supported the growth of the manufacturing effort by a factor of 70 to $11 Million per quarter. • Improved by over a factor of ten the reliability performance of products to below 5 FITs. • Achieved and maintained an outgoing quality level of less than 2PPM. • Wrote government funding proposals through the SBIR and ATP systems. • Developed and designed new materials and manufacturing methodologies (Ferroelectric) to support the development and manufacturing of 3 and 5 volt FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) based on a 0.50.35CMOS technology to be used in RFID application as well as stand alone memories.. Managed a staff of 10 Engineers and Materials Scientists • Developed Ferroelectric based PZT films to support greater than 1E15 read write cycles. • Created sputtering and sol-gel processes for the production of all products. • Responsible for the technology transfer of all materials related issues with alliance partners in Japan, Korea, China and Europe.
