As a Contract Web Designer: • Created websites with customer provided or Website Pros graphics & edited graphics for Internet suitability • Create website copy and utilize graphic elements for design • Exercise various search engine optimization (SEO) techniques As a Custom Web Coordinator/Web Designer: • Develop custom designs in Photoshop and Dreamweaver & wrote effective copy for customer's websites • Checked websites for copy and graphic interface prior to completion • Used strong understanding of web technologies, web design & web architectures • Troubleshot code to resolve display & bug issues • Translated specs into web-based solutions, schematic designs or mock-ups into HTML layouts & templates • Worked directly with site owner to develop the website including consultation, e-mails & phone calls • Used strong knowledge of browser/platform compatibility issues
